Completely restored MkI version with the probably most sought-after SME tonearm ever - the SME 3009 Series 1 
 
Technically and visually in absolutely flawless condition. The chassis has been repainted in its original color and shines like the day it left the Thorens factory
in St. Croix. 
 
Many new parts were used for the complete restoration of this TD124.
The SME tonearm also underwent a detailed resotoration with new internal wiring and a connection cable from SWISSONOR.
 

In order to exploit the full potential of the Ortofon SPU ROYAL G MkII (the top of the line SPU) the device was upgraded with various parts from SWISSONOR.

The turntable received the non-magnetic main platter, the upgrade aluminum platter and a SWISSONOR tonearm cable.

 
The combination of TD124 turntable, SME tonearm and Ortofon cartridge results
in an absolutely fantastic sounding piece of art that is also visually impressive.
